I am living in the English suburbs with two dogs, a cat and six chickens!

She looked as if she was right on death’s door; eyes closed, lying down, feet laying on floor and heavily breathing.
So we put her in the nest box when the others had gone up and this morning she looks quite perky.
She can’t walk and she has a pale comb but apart from that she seems quite normal. I’ve left her in there with some food.
Hyacinth is on her way today.
This morning Phoebe passed away.
She had a good life and died surrounded by the other chickens clucking and free roaming.
Well the six chickens are still around.
They have stopped laying. I’m guessing this is for the winter.
Thanks to anyone out there!
Things have been pretty standard until yesterday, when Hyacinth started limping. She’s still limping today. Nothing awkward about her foot as I checked yesterday.
Will keep you updated!
We received three eggs yesterday and today.
