Day Sixteen -13th August 2012

Hello all,

If you’re still reading, thank you.

I had this post written out with the pictures uploaded last night but succumbed to sleep before all of the videos were uploaded.

As promised I have plenty of media for you today. Starting with a rubbish picture taken at night before our bonfire turned them to ash;

These are the Omlet boxes the Eglu came in. There’s five of them about the same size.

Don’t worry, the rest are better.

So, one of my neighbours came round today and held some of the chickens (which is good as they need to be handled by other people).

So, I talked to a fellow at the Chertsey Show this weekend about showing
chickens at the next show near us. He said I would have to buy a cage and he will let me know if I phone him during this week. So I’m thinking

Also been reading up on giving chicken’s baths. Especially since Olivia seems to have a grubby chest as well as grubby feet now.

The new dust bath isn’t really being used as it should, they are just scraping it. Maybe they’ll use it for its intended purpose in the next few days. I’m not sure.

Anyway, pictures of the day;

Also, of course, the videos;

By the way, is anyone out there interested in short stories/poems? Let me know!

As always, you can comment or twitter, or e-mail me.

Today’s post will include The Henger Games!
